I see the ripples in the lake,
Muted melodies of the ghostly nights,
Now won't you see my face,
Let me just switch on the lights,
Oh why did you scream?
Why are you running away?
The doors are all locked,
You're here to stay,
And let me present to you,
My kingdom of ghosts, and ghastly sights,
The clock has finally stuck 12, the time is right,
So, stop screaming my dear before I slit your throat,
'cause it's about time, I read you a poem tonight ...

आज रात भूत आयेंगे,
छुप जाओ बिस्तर के नीचे,
पेड़ों के पीछे,
मुर्दों के बगीचे,
खून से जो सींचे,
उनमे लाशें उगेंगी,
तारों वाली डिस्को लाइट्स चमकेंगी,
और चुड़ैल करेंगी ता-थैया,
और मरेंगे आज सभी,
अंकल आंटी, भाभी और भैया
जो चरने गयी थी गैय्या,
वह तो खेतों में दफन है,
बाँधा सबने आज सर पर कफन है,
आज तो सबकी मौत का दिन है,
और रात अभी भी कमसिन है,
थोडा इसको खून चखाएंगे,
भूतों का आज हम डिनर बन जायेंगे,
अँधेरे की भूख आज मिल कर मिटायेंगे,
क्योंकि तारों ने चाँद को फुसफुसा कर कहा है,
देखना आज रात भूत आयेंगे ...

Aaj raat bhoot aayenge,
chhup jao bistar ke neeche,
pedon ke peeche,
murdon ke bageeche,
khoon se jo seenche,
unme laashe ugengi,
taaron waali disco lights chamkengi,
aur chudail karengi ta-thaiya,
aur marenge aaj sabhi,
uncle aunty, bhabhi aur bhaiya,
jo charne gayi thi gaiyya,
wah to kheton mein dafn hai,
baandha sabne aaj sar par kafn hai,
aaj to sabki maut ka din hai,
aur raat abhi bhi kamsin hai,
thoda isko khoon chakhayenge,
bhooton ka aaj hum dinner ban jaayenge,
andhere ki bhookh aaj milkar mitayenge,
kyonki taaron ne chaand ko fusfusa kar kaha hai,
dekhna aaj raat bhoot aayenge ...
